Despite the rain, we brought church, community groups and local peple together, to share informaiton and find out about all the fantastic things that are going on in the area.

This year, the event was held in June (normally in September) as we wanted you to join us in celebrating the Queen's 90th birthday.

We went a long way to encourage 90  people to pledge to give blood (or start giving again) and/or to sign up to the organ donation register. We are over half way there and will continue until we reach our target!

Stockport Writers encouraged people to write down their thoughts and memories of the Queen. A wonderful community poem has now been created Beautiful Lady, Loyal Servant. This poem will be sent to the Queen hersefl!
