Summer Fair

image of girls with face paintThis year's Summer Fair was held on Saturday 15 July, 12 to 3pm and we had lots of fun, despite the drizzle!

We  had  a wide range of stalls available, including our traditional raffles, tombolas, bric-a-brac, books, CDs, DVDs, and cake stalls. This year, we invited a number of community stalls to the fair, including Neighbrouhood Charity Crafters, The Prevention Alliance, Explore Learning and GW Turner's (who also ran a competition to guess how many balloons were in the limo and donated an amazing food hamper!). Special thanks also go out to our local scout team, who kept us well supplied with hot dogs.

We had a new attraction this year! Our Puppet Ministry kept everyone thoroughly entertained with the three shows they put on for us during the afternoon.

Thank you to everyone who came along to suport us, and all who gave their veiws on what they like about living in Edgeley, and what they would like to improve. We also thank everyone who visited our new community rooms on Chatham Street, and gave their ideas on how they would like us to use this space.

Highlights from the day are now available in our photo album, with a full set online on our Facebook site.
