Home Pack 12 July and Summer Reading Challenge

image of inside church with chairs spaced apart for social distancingWe are delighted that our church building is once again open for both private prayer and public worship. Things may seem a little different, and it can be easy to focus on the negatives but we prefer to look at the positives and rejoice in being together physically as well as virtually! If you have any concerns, please get in touch through our Contact Us page.

Private Prayer

Church is open for private prayer on Wednesday evenings, 6.30 - 7.30 and Saturday mornings, 10.30 - 11.30

Public Worship

Church is open for public worship on Sunday mornings, 10.30. We will continue to provide on online service through our YouTube Channel.

We continue to follow health guidance and this includes such things as:

  • one entrance and a separate exit
  • handwashing
  • face coverings strongly encouraged
  • socially distanced chairs
  • music but no singing
  • morning worship rather than Holy Communion
  • children to stay with parents/carers but colouring packs available
  • cleaning process in the toilet
  • no refreshments after the service but you are welcome to chat outside, socially distanced of course!

Revd. David Brewster has written a letter to our church family.

Summer Reading Challenge!

image of summer reading challenge poster We are being encouraged to read through Luke's gospel over the six weeks of summer and we would love you to join in!

We have a small number of Luke's gospel and will happily pop one through your door, along with the work sheet, at no cost to you (local friends only). If you would like a copy, just send us an email through our Contact Us page and choose General Enquiry.

You can find the worksheet here.
