  • Welcome to St. Matthew’s.

In the coming months church is going to look very different.

When together we started the season of Lent with Jesus being led by the Spirit into the solitude of the wilderness (Matthew 4:1-11), we could not have imagined that in such a short time so many of us would find ourselves isolated and cut off from so much of what is our normal life.

Though we are unable to meet together physically to worship we are still the church, and God’s Spirit, who joins us together with God and each other, is able to create that community even at a distance.

Just as Jesus’ time in the wilderness was formative for his life and ministry, so we pray that this wilderness through which we are all travelling, will be formative for each of us as we grow to be the people God is calling us to be.

Whilst we are not able to gather together to worship, we are working hard to find new ways of staying connected.

If you have any questions, please Contact Us.
